1st grade - ZUKemuffins!

Friday, October 23, 2015
presents yet another day with
The GARDEN GUYS
Today's Lesson:
--->   ZUCCHINI   <---

Today, on Friday, October 23, 2015,
Your child made
ZUCHINI MUFFINS
With this very recipe.

And THESE are the facts they learned.
These are such memorable facts
you may wish to have this blog bronzed
as an eternal keepsake!
If not bronzed, you may wish to get it just a little tan.
The CHOICE is YOURS!!!!

As the day dawns we find a Special Security detail
clearing the path and speeding the Gardening Guys
on their way to their Friday, October 23, 2015, class.

In our demand for perfection, no detail is too small for us.

ZUCCHINI POEMINI
by Jerry not Delini

The summer squash from Central A-
Merica and Mexico
Was seen and taken far away
To Spain 500 years ago

From Spain it went to Italy
Where farmers grew it with intent
To squash its growth, and wittily
Make a small-that's-large accomplishment

So Zucca is Zucchini now
Which means it's not as big as when
Before they grew it to be small
When it was larger way back when.

"I wear green for the plants.
The golden rays of the sun are represented by my straw hat.
I wear a white shirt because my doctor told me not to get too much straw hat."
