Monday's 2nd Grade class was our yearly special Smashing Pumpkins.
All the kids were asked to make guesstimates
of when pumpkins would smash when dropped from 4 different heights.
We dropped one medium pumpkin and one large pumpkin each
from 4 feet, 6 feet, 9 feet and 12 feet.
They based their guess work on the weight on the pumpkins, size, height and of course their experience in carving pumpkins.
